New Co. Meath facility ends export of Poolbeg incinerator ash

A NEW facility in Knockharley, Navan, has ended the need to export ash from Dublin’s Poolbeg incinerator. Operated by Panda, the €35m plant began running in May and is the first in Ireland to process bottom ash on the island. Witness appeal after cyclist seriously injured in Waterford collision

A CYCLIST is in hospital after being seriously injured in a collision in Waterford. The e-bike and a car collided on Cork Road (R680) in Waterford City before 8pm on November 16. PSNI launch investigation into abuse allegations at Presbyterian Church

AN INVESTIGATION is underway into allegations of abuse within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI). The PSNI has confirmed the probe into safeguarding concerns raised within the church, which were revealed last week by the church's moderator, Dr Trevor Gribben. Taoiseach ‘delighted’ to officially open new arrivals hall at Kerry Airport

TAOISEACH Micheál Martin was on hand to officially open Kerry Airport’s new arrivals hall this week.
