Man assaulted with hammer and iron bar in ‘vicious’ Belfast attack

A MAN was assaulted with a hammer and an iron bar during a 'vicious' attack in Belfast on Friday night. The aggravated burglary and assault occurred just before 9.30pm on Friday at a property in the Clonfadden Crescent area in the west of the city. Man in his 60s dies in Co. Wicklow collision

A MAN in his 60s has died following road traffic collision in Co. Wicklow. The incident occurred on the R725, Rath East, Shillelagh at around 6.50pm on Friday. The deceased man was the driver of one of the cars, while his female passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
