Tributes to ‘kind, gentle’ man who died following collision in Limerick

A MAN who died following a collision in Limerick has been remembered as “the most gentle of souls”. James Forde died on November 26 after he was hit by a car while on the Ennis Road at around 2pm. Ombudsman appeal for witnesses to police arrest in Belfast

A PUBLIC appeal has been issued to find people who may have witnessed the arrest of a man in Belfast last month. The Police Ombudsman of Northern Ireland has appealed for anyone who saw the arrest, which took place in the Beechview Park of the Falls Road in the early hours of October 6, 2024, to contact them. Taoiseach urges end to violence in Gaza following ceasefire in Lebanon

TAOISEACH Simon Harris has called for an end to the conflict in Gaza after a ceasefire agreement brought a halt the fighting in Lebanon. A 60-day ceasefire has been agreed between Israel and Hezbollah.
