Three people treated in hospital for serious injuries following aggravated burglary in Cork

THREE people have been left with serious injuries following an aggravated burglary in Cork. TRIBUTES have been paid to an Irishman who died following a collision in Australia on Monday. Woman appears in court over death of baby found 26 years ago

A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a baby found dead in woodland 26 years ago. Joanne Sharkey, 54, of West Derby, Liverpool, appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with murder and the concealment of the birth of a child.
