GARDAÍ have released a CCTV image in a bid to trace the owners of two vehicles as part of their investigation into a two-car collision in Co. Donegal that claimed three lives. Witness appeal after driver killed in Offaly collision

GARDAÍ have appealed for witnesses after a driver was killed in a collision in Co. Offaly. Denis Johnston, Irish playwright and protege of W.B. Yeats and George Bernard Shaw, was born on this day in 1901. Johnston’s first play, “The Old Lady Says No!” helped establish his career as a playwright. “The Moon in the Yellow River” (1931) is perhaps his most well known play.
