Gardaí appeal for help identifying man whose body was recovered from water in Co. Galway

GARDAÍ are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man whose body was recovered from the water in Co. Galway 10 days ago. The man was removed from the water at Claddagh Quay on Sunday, November 17 but despite extensive enquiries, investigators have been unable to identify him. Remains exhumed in Co. Monaghan in search for one of the Disappeared

REMAINS have been exhumed from a grave in Co. Monaghan as part of a search for Joe Lynskey, one of the so-called Disappeared. Man charged with attempted murder over Co. Antrim shooting

DETECTIVES investigating a shooting incident in Co. Antrim on Monday have charged a man with attempted murder. The 41-year-old has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and criminal damage over the incident at a property on the Feystown Road near Glenarm. June 5, 1968

Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
