Minute’s silence held in honour of Irish victims of road traffic accidents

A CEREMONY has been held in Dublin honouring the lives of those who have died in road traffic accidents over the past year. Kneecap concert in Derry gets go-ahead at new venue

A CONCERT by Irish-speaking rap trio Kneecap will go ahead this month it has been confirmed. Man jailed for 17 years following multiple child sex offences

A MAN has been jailed for 17 years after being found guilty of multiple child sex offences. ​Liam Brannan, 33, of Antonio Street, Bootle, Merseyside, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday. A jury had earlier found him guilty of three counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, six counts of sexual assault and two counts of rape. June 5, 1968

Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
