STEPHEN Nolan remains the BBC's 5th best paid presenter, according to the BBC’ss recently published annual report. He is also believed to be the highest paid broadcaster based on the island of Ireland. He was paid between £405,000 and £409,999 directly from the licence fee in 2023-24. Guilty verdicts in Kerry cemetery murder case

A TOTAL of five men have been found guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court in Cork of the murder of Thomas Dooley, at a funeral in Tralee, Co. Kerry (42). Wicklow girl dies in balcony fall in Mallorca

AN 11-year-old Co. Wicklow girl has died while on holiday after falling off a hotel balcony in Mallorca. Clodagh Phelan died after falling from the 7th floor balcony. La Guardia Civil, the Spanish police, say there are treating the death as an accident. Irish playwright Martin McDonagh’s debut play “The Beauty Queen of Leenane” wins four Tony awards for its 1998 Broadway production.
