A PENSIONER has been assaulted during an attempted hijacking in Co. Down. The incident occurred in Dromore during the early hours of Saturday morning. Man nailed to fence in ‘sinister attack’ in Co. Antrim

POLICE have condemned a 'sinister attack' in Co. Antrim in which a man was nailed to a fence. The incident, which also saw two vehicles set on fire, occurred in Bushmills in the early hours of Sunday morning. Man jailed for killing two cyclists after 24 years on the run

A MAN whose dangerous driving led to the deaths of two cyclists has been jailed after 24 years on the run. Bryan Kenealy, 69, and Roger Harris, 66, were cycling in Cheshire in November 1999 when Huseyin Ozkara collided with another car. Man again sentenced to life for murder of ‘gentle soul’ after original conviction quashed

A MAN has been sentenced to life for a second time for murdering his friend after his original conviction was quashed. William Phelan, 39, was found stabbed to death at his home in Harpurhey, Manchester in March 2018.
