POLICE have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a petrol bomb attack destroyed a number of vehicles in Armagh. TWO men have been charged in connection with an investigation into the activities of the New IRA. Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit, have charged two men to court. Driver caught with cocaine worth €350k after acting ‘suspiciously’ at garda checkpoint

A MAN has been arrested after being caught with €350k worth of cocaine in his car while passing through a garda checkpoint. The driver, aged in his 30s, was seen to be acting suspiciously as he approached a road safety awareness checkpoint in Dublin. Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
