A MAN who was attacked following an altercation in Omagh will require reconstructive surgery due to the injuries sustained to his face. More than 5500 cases of cervical cancer prevented in Ireland through screening

NEW research has shown that Ireland’s cervical cancer screening programme has prevented more than 5500 cases of the disease. POLICE have identified a young woman who died on St Stephen’s Day after being involved in a collision in Co. Fermanagh earlier this month. Hundreds of new speed cameras will come into effect in Ireland on New Year’s Day

HUNDREDS of new speed cameras will become operational across Ireland on New Years Day. A total of 390 new safety cameras will be turned on on January 1, the gardaí confirmed in a statement. Some 55 of the new zones were requested by the local communities in which they will be placed.
