THREE people have died following two separate road traffic collisions in Co. Tipperary this weekend. Father of former Celtic player and manager Neil Lennon passes away

GERRY LENNON, the father of former Celtic player and manager Neil Lennon, has passed away. The Co. Armagh native died at a care home on Friday 'surrounded by the love of his family' and will be laid to rest on Monday. Denis Johnston, Irish playwright and protege of W.B. Yeats and George Bernard Shaw, was born on this day in 1901. Johnston’s first play, “The Old Lady Says No!” helped establish his career as a playwright. “The Moon in the Yellow River” (1931) is perhaps his most well known play.
