Illegal drugs and counterfeit goods totalling €650k seized in raids across Ireland

CONTRABAND worth an estimated €650K has been seized following a series of raids across Ireland. The seizures were made between March 23 to March 30, a spokesperson for Revenue confirmed. FIVE people were taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a van in Co. Westmeath. AN elderly woman who was involved in a collision in Armagh earlier this month has since died in hospital. The two-car collision happened on the Newry Road at around 10.30am on March 22.
