‘Devastating’: Rare white-tailed eagle shot dead in Ireland

AN investigation has been launched after a rare white-tailed eagle was shot dead in Ireland. The young female bird was part of a collaborative reproduction scheme between Ireland and Norway, the Irish Government has confirmed.
