Man assaulted and threatened in racially-motivated hate crime in Belfast

A MAN has been assaulted and threatened in Belfast in what police are treating as a racially-motivated hate crime. The incident occurred in the Upper Crescent area in the south of the city last weekend. THE PSNI has issued a renewed appeal for information on the whereabouts of an American woman who has been missing for almost five months. Sofi Johansson, 56, was last seen in the Banbridge area of Co. Down in May. GARDAÍ have seized £280,000 worth of suspected heroin as well as a number of offensive weapons following searches in Dublin.
