A WOMAN from Dublin has been charged with drugs offences after almost £1m worth of cannabis was seized at Belfast City Airport this week. ‘Depraved and dangerous’ rapist is handed life sentence

A RAPIST described as 'depraved and dangerous' by police has been handed a life sentence following a violent attack on a woman. Thomas Mulroy raped the woman at his home in Chatham, Kent in March 2021 and then stopped her from leaving the property. Two men ‘repeatedly kicked to the head’ by group of males during Newry assault

POLICE are appealing for information following a report of an assault in Newry in which two men were repeatedly kicked in the head. A MAN has been arrested after almost €2m in gold and cash, as well as a large quantity of suspected drugs, were seized in the Dublin region. €1.4m in gold bullion, €460,000 in cash and €210,000 in suspected cocaine were found following a search of residential and business premises on Friday and Saturday. TRIBUTES have been paid to two teenagers who died in a two-vehicle collision in Co. Mayo. Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
