AN arrest has been made after more than €1.1m worth of cannabis was found in a van which arrived in Dublin on a ferry from the UK. Man charged with murder as family pay tribute to ‘much-loved mother’

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of ‘much loved’ grandmother Frances Dwyer in Birmingham. The 48-year-old’s body was found at a property on Mulwych Road in Tile Cross on Saturday, March 30. After the start of the Irish Rebellion of 1798 on May 24, the United Irishmen were defeated by British forces on this day in 1798. Historically known as the Battle of Vinegar Hill, almost 1,000 rebels lost their lives in this battle, which marked a turning point and eventual loss in the Rebellion of 1798.
