Appeal after man dies in collision in Co. Roscommon

GARDAÍ have appealed for information after a man died in a two-vehicle collision in Co. Roscommon.

The incident occurred on the R280 at Arigna on Tuesday, September 3 at around 8.20pm.

The male driver of one of the vehicles, who was aged in his 20s, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

A woman in her 50s and a boy were brought to Sligo University Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

Any road users who may have camera footage and were travelling in the area between 8pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday are asked to make the footage available to investigating gardaí.
