A WOMAN has been hospitalised after being attacked by a dog in Co. Cork.
The incident occurred at a residential property in the Ballyvolane area of the city on Friday.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to Cork University Hospital for medical treatment.
“The dog involved was subsequently euthanised by a vet,” read a statement from gardaí.
“Inquires are ongoing.”
