A MAN in his 50s has died following an early-morning collision in Co. Kildare.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian at around 5.25am on Saturday in the Mylerstown area of Robertstown.

“The pedestrian, a male in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” added a garda statement.
