Based on the acclaimed Neil Gaiman novel, the series explores mythic Gods from various countries converging in modern day America. Among the central characters in American Gods is Mad Sweeney (Pablo Schreiber), from Ireland, sidekick to colorful con artist, Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). ♦
