Pedestrian dies after bus collision on motorway in Co. Kildare

A MAN has died following a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian on a motorway in Co. Kildare. The incident happened between junction 8 and junction 7 eastbound on the N7 motorway at Kill at around 3.30pm on Saturday. Police treat Belfast burglary as racially-motivated hate incident

POLICE in Belfast have said they are treating a burglary in the city as a racially-motivated hate incident. The burglary occurred at a property in the Glen Road area in the west of the city at around 8.30pm on Thursday. Gardaí launch murder investigation after man dies four days on from Co. Kildare assault

GARDAÍ have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man days after he was assaulted in Co. Kildare. Billy “the kid,” born William McCarty, commits his first murder on this day in 1877. The infamous outlaw was born in an Irish neighborhood of New York to a family who had immigrated during the famine. His mother moved his family west, where McCarty became involved with small crimes as a teenager. After getting into an argument with Irish immigrant Frank Cahill, Billy the kid shot the man and fled to New Mexico, where he began his long career of outlawry.
