Co. Galway pair jailed over counterfeit cash scam across England as warrant issued for third man

TWO men from Co. Galway have been jailed over their role in a counterfeit cash scam carried out across England. Patrick Ward, 22, of Coole Park, Galway, and Jason Ward, 19, of Radharc Na Freine, Galway, have been jailed for 30 months and 28 months rerspectively. Man extradited to North to stand trial for rape

A MAN has been extradited to Northern Ireland to stand trial for rape. The 35-year-old man was arrested in Ireland on April 9 before being extradited to the North on Friday. He had been subject to an investigation by the PSNI's Rape Crime Unit and is sought to stand trial in relation to a rape that occurred in Belfast in October 2023. Irish American actor, singer and dancer Gene Kelly is born on August 23, 1912 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kelly was first enrolled in dance classes by his mother at the age of eight and did not like it at first, but decided to return to dance at age fifteen. After graduating from University of Pittsburgh, Kelly moved to New York City in search of work as a choreographer. Instead, he was cast as a dancer in Cole Porter’s “Leave It to Me!” and became well established on Broadway after that. Kelly went on to become famous in Hollywood after starring alongside Judy Garland in MGM’s “For Me and My Gal.”
