GARDA have appealed for information on the whereabouts of a teenager missing from Co. Offaly. Neo Varghese, 13, is reported missing from his home in Tullamore since yesterday evening. A MAN who fatally stabbed his ex-partner has been jailed for her murder. William Brady, 57, attacked 50-year-old Pauline Sweeney at her address in Long Close Avenue in Coventry, West Midlands in March of this year. ‘A dangerous man’: Convicted sex offender jailed for raping man and sexually assaulting boy

A CONVICTED sex offender who raped a 21-year-old man and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy in 2006 has been jailed for 12 years. The ban restricting Catholics from attending Trinity College Dublin is finally lifted on this day in 1970. Through the help of the then Archbishop of Dublin John McQuaid, the Roman Catholic church removes its policy of disapproval or even excommunication for Catholics who enrolled at Trinity College without the proper permission. Authorities at the school also allow for a Catholic chaplain to be based at the college.
