GARDAÍ are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of woman missing from Co. Dublin. Man and woman due in court charged with St Stephen’s Day murder in Co. Down

A MAN and woman are due in court charged with the murder of a man in Co. Down on St Stephen's Day. Mark Dorrian, 50, was discovered unconscious at a flat in Newtownards at around 1.50am on December 26. THE young woman killed in a collision in Fermanagh has been named. Amy Stokes died on Monday, December 23 when the car she was a passenger in was involved a collision in the Ballyconnell Road area of Derrylin at around 10.50pm. After the start of the Irish Rebellion of 1798 on May 24, the United Irishmen were defeated by British forces on this day in 1798. Historically known as the Battle of Vinegar Hill, almost 1,000 rebels lost their lives in this battle, which marked a turning point and eventual loss in the Rebellion of 1798.
