Two charged with murder following discovery of missing man’s body in Belfast

TWO people have been charged with murder following the discovery of a missing man's body in Belfast. Kevin Davidson was last seen on July 10 in the Donegall Avenue area of the city. Guilty verdicts in Kerry cemetery murder case

A TOTAL of five men have been found guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court in Cork of the murder of Thomas Dooley, at a funeral in Tralee, Co. Kerry (42). After 38 years of occupation in Northern Ireland, the British Army officially withdrew their forces at midnight on July 31, 2007. “Operation Banner,” England’s longest continuous military operation, saw 300,000 British soldiers stationed in Northern Ireland through out the 38 years. Operation Banner concluded on July 31st, with 762 English soldiers dead in the wake of the campaign.
