Derry Mayor ‘honoured’ as Mayor of Bethlehem agrees to cities being twinned

THE Mayor of Bethlehem has welcomed a motion by Derry City Council to twin the two cities. Ryanair cancels 300 flights as strike gets underway in France

RYANAIR has cancelled more than 300 flights today as a strike by French air traffic controllers gets underway. CEO Michael O’Leary said most of the passengers disrupted by the industrial action would be those flying in French airspace, between European destinations, rather than on flights going to or from France. Shock as gun found by graveyard where local people ‘pay respects to loved ones’

A COMMUNITY has been left in shock after a gun was found in an area close to a graveyard. The suspected firearm was found in Ardmore in Derry yesterday “in the vicinity of a graveyard” the PSNI has confirmed.
