‘Stalking can take many forms’ police warns as 300 arrests made in two years

MORE than 300 alleged stalkers have been arrested in Northern Ireland over the past two years, according to new figures. ‘Clear link’ between human trafficking and homelessness in Ireland

Drugs worth €184k found in suitcase on flight from Spain to Dublin

A MAN has been arrested after cannabis worth an estimated €184k was found in luggage on a flight which arrived in Dublin from Spain. Revenue officers seized 9.2kgs of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport yesterday afternoon. On this day in 1816, Dublin born playwright and politician Richard Brinsley Sheridan died in London. Sheridan was a member of the British House of Commons and is best remembered for his plays “A Trip to Scarborough,” “The Rivals,” and “The School for Scandal.” He was very well respected by his contemporaries and is buried at the Poet’s Corner at Westminster Abbey.
