Father and sons jailed for killing man for Rolex watches

THREE men have been jailed after pleading guilty to killing a man in broad daylight in Birmingham last year.  Darren Smith was ambushed on March 15, 2023, after leaving a phone shop in Heath Way, Shard End. Former pub where Michael Collins convened intelligence unit meetings gets heritage plaque

GAA signs up to road safety campaign as death toll increases in North

Semi-automatic machine gun among ten ‘lethal’ firearms seized in Dublin

A SEMI-AUTOMATIC machine gun is among ten firearms seized in Dublin over the past fortnight. Ireland’s Crown Jewels are found missing on this day in 1907, just before days before a state visit by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. The theft remains a mystery to this day. Arthur Vicars, Officer of Arms at Dublin Castle, held the jewels in his office and publicly accused his second in command, Francis Shackleton. Shackleton was exonerated and the case was never solved. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle used this historical event as the influence for his Sherlock Holmes story “The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans.”
