Appeal for witnesses after pedestrian dies in Co. Wexford collision

GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a pedestrian died in a collision in Co. Wexford. GARDAÍ have renewed their appeal for witnesses following a fatal hit-and-run in Co. Kildare last month. Man dies in single-vehicle collision in Co. Kerry

A MAN has died following a single-vehicle collision in Co. Kerry this morning. Denis Johnston, Irish playwright and protege of W.B. Yeats and George Bernard Shaw, was born on this day in 1901. Johnston’s first play, “The Old Lady Says No!” helped establish his career as a playwright. “The Moon in the Yellow River” (1931) is perhaps his most well known play.
