A TEENAGER has died after the car he was driving was involved in a collision near Buncrana in Dongeal. The young man, aged in his late teens, was driving on the R244 (Mountain Road) at Ballinlough shortly after 5am on December 12 when the single vehicle incident happened. Death of farmer who made national news after shooting dead an intruder on his farm

THE Co. Mayo farmer Padraig Nally, who came to prominence 20 years ago when he shot an intruder at his farm, has died. The 81-year-old shot John 'Frog' Ward at his farm near the village of Cross in October 2004.
