Man dies following early morning collision in Co Clare

A MAN has died after the car he was driving was involved in a collision in Co. Clare. Gardaí were called to the incident in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, November 24. Poultry farmer jailed for cultivating ‘sophisticated cannabis farm’

A FARMER in Co. Down has been jailed after being caught growing a “substantial” amound of cannabis. Poultry farmer Clive Weir, of New Road, near Hillsborough, was handed a three-year sentence at Craigavon Crown Court yesterday and was ordered to spend 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.
