A MAN who sexually assaulted women after falsely advertising himself as a professional masseur has been jailed. Joseph Mooney, 44, stated on his Facebook page that he was qualified to give massages but had created a fake certificate to support his predatory behaviour. Man arrested after large quantity of suspected drugs found in car at Belfast Harbour

A MAN has been arrested after a large quantity of suspected Class B drugs were found in a car at Belfast Harbour. Man dies and woman seriously injured in Co. Leitrim collision

A MAN has died and a woman left seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Co. Leitrim. The single-vehicle collision occurred at around 7am on Thursday in Derryherk on a local road between Kinlough and Garrison. Legendary actor and Oscar winner Gregory Peck died on this day in 2003. Peck, who’s grandmother Catherine Ashe came from Dingle, studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and debuted in his first Broadway show The Morning Star after graduation. His role in The Keys of the Kingdom in 1944 won him an Academy Award nomination. He became well known for his rugged screen presence and was often cast as the hero, especially in westerns. He starred opposite Audrey Hepburn in her first film Roman Holiday. Peck finally won the Oscar for his role as Atticus Finch in 1962’s To Kill a Mockingbird.
