Motorcyclist dies following Co. Cork collision

A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision in Co. Cork. The man, aged in his 40s, collided with a car on the N73 near Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, on June 21. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ireland spends more than €730,000 to deport 42 South Africans

IRELAND spent €735,000 on a plane to deport 42 South Africans earlier this week, it has been revealed. The cost, which is exclusive of VAT, was for a return flight from Dublin to Johannesberg. Drone delivery firm Manna suspends services in Ireland, citing lack of national policy framework

DRONE delivery firm Manna Air Delivery has said it is pausing services in Ireland, citing a lack of a clear national policy framework for commercial drone delivery. After 38 years of occupation in Northern Ireland, the British Army officially withdrew their forces at midnight on July 31, 2007. “Operation Banner,” England’s longest continuous military operation, saw 300,000 British soldiers stationed in Northern Ireland through out the 38 years. Operation Banner concluded on July 31st, with 762 English soldiers dead in the wake of the campaign.
