A SCHOOL has paid tribute to a pupil who died following an incident at this weekend's Donegal International Rally. Car involved in serveral recent collisions found abandoned across border following Derry pursuit

A CAR suspected of being involved in several collisions in Derry over recent months has been found abandoned over the border following a pursuit in the city. ‘A parent’s worst nightmare’: Teenage spectator dies following incident at Co. Donegal rally event

A TEENAGE spectator has died following an incident at a rally event in Co. Donegal on Saturday. The boy, who gardaí said was in his mid-teens, passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital following the incident at Trentagh, near Kilmacrennan during the Donegal International Rally. Appeal after explosive device found outside Co. Cork house

GARDAÍ have appealed for information after an explosive device was discovered outside a house in Co. Cork. Residents were evacuated following the discovery of the device in Bandon on Thursday before it was removed by the Defence Forces' Explosive Ordnance Disposal team. Police name man who died in Co. Tyrone tractor collision

POLICE have named a man who died in a collision involving a tractor in Co. Tyrone as 77-year-old Dessie Sheridan from Tattyreagh. The great-grandfather died following the single-vehicle collision in the Fintona area outside Omagh on Friday evening. After 38 years of occupation in Northern Ireland, the British Army officially withdrew their forces at midnight on July 31, 2007. “Operation Banner,” England’s longest continuous military operation, saw 300,000 British soldiers stationed in Northern Ireland through out the 38 years. Operation Banner concluded on July 31st, with 762 English soldiers dead in the wake of the campaign.
