Galway cheese named ‘best in UK and Ireland’

A GOAT’S cheese made in county Galway has been named the best in the UK and Ireland. Killeen Farmhouse Cheese’s Extra Mature Goat’s Cheese was named Supreme Champion at the Artisan Cheese Awards this month. A MAN who attempted to flee police after the car he was a passenger in was stopped in Co. Tyrone has been arrested. On this day in 1816, Dublin born playwright and politician Richard Brinsley Sheridan died in London. Sheridan was a member of the British House of Commons and is best remembered for his plays “A Trip to Scarborough,” “The Rivals,” and “The School for Scandal.” He was very well respected by his contemporaries and is buried at the Poet’s Corner at Westminster Abbey.
