Cannabis, hash oil and ketamin worth €700k seized in raids across Ireland

REVENUE officers have seized more than €700k worth of cannabis, ketamine and flavoured hash oils in raids across Ireland. Immigration into Ireland at 17-year high new figures reveal

NEW figures have revealed that immigration levels into Ireland are at a 17-year high. Data released by Ireland’s Central Statistics Office (CSO) today show that in the year to April 2024, the population in Ireland rose by 98,700 people. July 25th marks the feast of St. James in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church. Dubliners celebrate this day by holding an annual drinking festival, which has been a tradition since the medieval era. Likewise, Irish pilgrims who choose to honor St. James and walk the Santiago de Compostela in Spain, often leave from St. James’s Gate in Dublin, where the Guinness factory is fittingly located.
