A MAN who abused a girl over a two-year period been jailed for 15 years. Daniel O'Brien, of Kursaal Way, Southend, Essex, abused the girl between 2017 and 2019 before the offences were reported to police in 2021. Luas services disrupted after vehicle driven on to tracks

DUBLIN'S tram system faced disruption on Saturday evening after a vehicle was driven on to the tracks. The Luas Red Line suffered significant delays following the incident, which occurred near the Blackhorse stop shortly after 7pm last night. Man jailed after pleading guilty to terrorism-related offences

A MAN who was found in possession of a British Army member's vehicle registration has been handed a 30-month sentence. Ireland’s Crown Jewels are found missing on this day in 1907, just before days before a state visit by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. The theft remains a mystery to this day. Arthur Vicars, Officer of Arms at Dublin Castle, held the jewels in his office and publicly accused his second in command, Francis Shackleton. Shackleton was exonerated and the case was never solved. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle used this historical event as the influence for his Sherlock Holmes story “The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans.”
