A CHILD has sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car in Co. Antrim. The 12-year-old was knocked down on the Prince William Road in Lisburn at around 3.15pm yesterday afternoon. Woman wanted for fraud offences in Hungary arrested in Northern Ireland

A WOMAN who is wanted for fraud in Hungary has been arrested in Northern Ireland. The 42-year-old, who is wanted to stand trial for money laundering and fraud offences, was arrested in Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim yesterday (April 20). A MAN is being treated for serious injuries in hospital following a collision in Co. Sligo. The two-vehicle incident, between a motorcycle and a car, happened on the N15 near Cashelgarran in Grange at around 8pm on April 19. A first edition draft of a chapter from James Joyce’s “Ulysses” is sold for close to £900,000 at an auction on this date in 2001. The scribble-filled manuscript of the chapter, titled Eumaeus, was sold by Sotheby’s. It was expected to sell for more than £1m.
