Arrest after man stabbed in Co. Tyrone in early hours of this morning

POLICE have made an arrest after a man was stabbed in Co. Tyrone in the early hours of this morning. The incident occurred in the Kelvin Road area of Omagh at around 12.25am today. Four people rescued from boat on fire in Dublin Bay

FOUR people have been rescued after a boat was engulfed in flames in Dublin Bay. The alarm was raised with the Coast Guard at around 3.45pm on Saturday. A first edition draft of a chapter from James Joyce’s “Ulysses” is sold for close to £900,000 at an auction on this date in 2001. The scribble-filled manuscript of the chapter, titled Eumaeus, was sold by Sotheby’s. It was expected to sell for more than £1m.
