Alison Canavan

Alison Canavan is a globally recognized transformational coach, motivational speaker, and wellness expert named one of the top 8 transformational coaches in the US by USA Today. With a career spanning decades, Alison began as an international model at 15, later transitioning to a wellness expert and mindfulness advocate. She has captivated audiences worldwide with her innovative approach to 360 health and wellbeing, focusing on mental health, stress management, and personal growth. 

A prolific writer, Alison contributed a parenting column for Supermum, a quarterly supplement with The Mail on Sunday, and had a weekly parenting column for the Irish Daily Mail and a weekly column called ‘Nirvana’ with The Sunday Independent for many years. She also appeared on various TV and radio shows, including being interviewed three times on The Late Late Show. A UCLA-trained Mindfulness Facilitator, Master NLP Practitioner, and award-winning author of Minding Mum: It’s Time to Take Care of You, Alison combines her expertise in mindfulness, nutrition, and energy management to help individuals and companies navigate challenges like burnout, anxiety, and work-life balance.

Alison’s client roster includes global leaders like Google, Deloitte, and YouTube. A sought-after speaker, she empowers audiences to create peace within, embrace self-care, and live with purpose, fostering positive change worldwide. She continues to be a passionate humanitarian, devoting a lot of time to various charities, particularly those concerning children and families. She has lectured in Trinity College in Ireland on the module of Motherhood and Mental Health. In June 2014, she chaired and spoke at the first-ever Barnardos Parental Mental Health Conference in Ireland at Croke Park and has held many ambassadorship roles for charities, including St Patrick’s Mental Health Services and Goal.
