Derek Doody
Derek Doody is an executive director at UBS within the Treasury division. For the past 10 years, he and his team are responsible for managing structural interest rate risk for the UBS wealth management business in the Americas.
Before joining UBS in 2014, Derek began his career at the Bank of Ireland in 1997, working on the trading desk in Dublin. Since that time, Derek’s career evolved across trading and managing risk in various capital markets before being promoted to assist in building out Bank of Ireland’s US trading markets activities in 2006 in Stamford, CT.
Derek is a graduate of UCD, where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Science (Economics) degrees, and holds an MBA from Columbia University. He was born in Dublin as one of six children to John and Patricia. Derek now resides in Darien, Connecticut, with his wife and three sons. He is the Treasurer of his soccer team, Stamford United, and a keen golfer when time permits.
