Helen Doody is the Head of Abbey Capital (US) LLC and serves on its Board of Directors. Abbey Capital is a leading investment manager specializing in liquid alternative strategies. Helen oversees business development and investor relations across North America, working closely with her team to engage with both institutional investors and the wealth management community.

 A native of Dublin, Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin and a Certificate in Investment Management from Dublin City University. She also serves on the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School US Advisory Board.

 Helen relocated to the United States in 2006 with her husband, Derek Doody. They have three sons – Gavin, J.J., and Christian – and live in Connecticut. In 2024, she was a keynote speaker at Irish America’s Top 100 in Business event and was recognized on the magazine’s Power Women list.
