Gerry McGinley has worked with high-net-worth clients for over 30 years to help them manage their wealth and achieve their goals.
As Managing Director with UBS, Gerry, working with an integrated team of professionals, draws upon the firm’s global resources and his many years of experience, helping clients with their banking, investing, trust and estate, lending and philanthropic needs. Throughout his career, Gerry has earned firm recognition and Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor designations many times.
Gerry joined UBS in 2015 after more than 20 years with Credit Suisse Private Banking, where he led a team that advised ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and not-for-profit organizations. Gerry began his financial career as an equity trader and previously taught high school history.
He earned an M.B.A. from Kellogg/ __Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics from Hobart College. Gerry completed the prestigious Hawaii Ironman triathlon. He also has served as a trustee of Camp Tecumseh in Center Harbor, NH. Gerry lives in Westport, CT and San Diego with his wife and three children.
Gerry’s annual golf trips to Ireland with his family are an important tradition, strengthening connections with their Irish ancestry and furthering their knowledge of Irish culture and history. Gerry has previously been honored among the Irish America Wall Street 50.
