Karl Robinson is Global Head of Corporate Strategy at IFM Investors, where he focuses on the firm’s growth strategy. IFM Investors is a US$200bn+ global institutional investment manager with over 880 clients around the world. IFM Investors’ purpose is to invest, protect, and grow the long-term retirement savings of working people.

Before joining IFM, Karl spent 14 years at Macquarie, where he served as a Managing Director and Global COO across various Asset Management and Infrastructure Investment Banking businesses. Prior to Macquarie, Karl was a management consultant at Accenture for 7 years.

Karl has a deep connection with Ireland, having grown up in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, before moving to Dublin to study at University College Dublin, where he graduated with first-class honors in Commerce and a Master’s of Business from the Michael Smurfit School of Business. Upon graduation, Karl joined Accenture in Dublin in 2003, working with financial services clients. He then moved to Sydney, Australia, in 2010, where he met his wife, Niamh, who hails from Wicklow town. Karl and Niamh moved to New York in 2017 and now live in Old Greenwich, CT, with their daughters Sophia and Ava.
