Meghan FitzGerald
Healthcare Strategist
Meghan FitzGerald is a healthcare leader whose career spans frontline clinical care, pharma, private equity, and academia. She began her career as a nurse and advanced into senior roles across the healthcare continuum, including leadership positions at Pfizer, Medco, and Cardinal Health.
A lifelong operator, investor, and educator, FitzGerald serves as a senior advisor to leading investment firms and sits on multiple public company boards, including Tenet Healthcare and Roivant Sciences. She also teaches at Columbia University, where she is an adjunct professor of health policy – a role shaped in part by her award-winning book Ascending Davos: A Career Journey from the Emergency Room to the Boardroom, chronicling her journey through the healthcare system. During the pandemic, she returned to frontline practice and is a board-certified acute geriatric nurse practitioner.
With advanced degrees in public health, business, and a doctorate in health policy, FitzGerald’s work is defined by a commitment to innovation, expanding access, and bridging the worlds of industry, policy, and investment.
