As Chief Financial Officer of Northwell Health, Michele Cusack is entrusted with the fiscal stewardship of New York’s largest healthcare provider and private employer. She strategically oversees all financial operations, ensuring the organization’s sustained growth and financial health across its vast enterprise.

A Certified Public Accountant, Michele’s expertise extends to an administrative role on the Finance and Audit Committees of Northwell’s Board of Trustees, and she lends her insights to Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island Board of Directors. Her career began at Deloitte & Touche, culminating in her current executive role after earning 

her MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Residing in Long Island with her husband, James, and their four children, Michele proudly carries forward a legacy rooted in Ireland, with her father from County Limerick and her mother from County Leitrim. It is this heritage that continues to shape her leadership and values.
