Neil O’Donnell

Quarterback

When Neil O’Donnell was watching the Pittsburgh Steelers’ playoff victory at the age of six, he never imagined he would one day be on the field himself as a member of the team in other playoffs. But the professional quarterback had just that experience earlier this year, when the Steelers won the playoffs to enter the Superbowl contest against the Dallas Cowboys.

Neil O’Donnell credits his father, jack, for imbuing him with his love of football, which led to his participating in America’s greatest sporting competition.

The youngest of nine children, O’Donnell was born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey, and later attended the University of Maryland. He finished his career there ranked second to Boomer Esiason in the school’s football history.

O’Donnell and his wife Leslie, reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
