Sinead Faughnan
Sinead Faughnan is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Senior Vice President at UBS Private Wealth Management, where she has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate all aspects of their financial lives. With deep expertise in asset management, trust and estate planning, philanthropy, and purpose-driven wealth strategy, Sinead’s approach is personal, comprehensive, and empowering.
Known for her ability to translate complex financial topics into actionable and digestible insights, Sinead has a special passion for working with women – coaching them through volatile markets, guiding them through life transitions, and celebrating financial milestones. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Berkeley College with a concentration in International Business, and her Certificate of Financial Planning from Fordham University.
Beyond her role at UBS, Sinead is a proud Irish-American and active community leader. She serves as treasurer and board member of the Aisling Irish Center in Yonkers, NY. She has participated in panels and hosted events with organizations like 100 Women in Finance and the Irish Business Organization. Her achievements include The Ireland Funds as Young Leader of the Year (2018), and most recently, she was named one of Forbes’ Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State for 2025.
Born in Brosna, Co. Kerry, Ireland, and raised in New York, Sinead maintains strong ties to her heritage, frequently returning to visit her family. Today, she lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, with her husband and their beloved Labrador, Beau.
