Tomás Coyne

Tomás Coyne is currently the Head of Applied AI for Financial Services for Google Cloud. He and his team are responsible for getting customers ‘agent-ready’, delivering a complete and flexible AI stack with all the critical components for agentic AI. Through this open, end-to-end approach, we empower customers across the financial services ecosystem to confidently and securely leverage Google’s world-leading AI and make it work for their business.

Before Google, Tomás was a consulting executive at Accenture, where he spent over a decade building high-performing teams and providing business and technology advisory services to clients across EMEA and North America. He worked on over 20 complex projects, primarily for financial services organizations, helping them build engaging, dynamic, and personalized customer experiences using the latest cloud and AI technologies.

Born in Inis Mór on the Aran Islands, Tomás is a fluent Gaeilgeoir (Irish speaker) who remains very proud of his Gaeltacht and Galway roots. He graduated from the University of Galway with a BS in Business Information Systems and also has an MS in International Business & Global Management from the University of Limerick.

Tomás currently resides in Manhattan with his wife, Kathleen, and their daughter, Maeve. He remains involved with various social and professional groups, notably Digital Irish, Manhattan Gaels GAA Club, and West Brooklyn Albion Soccer Club.
